Can you first explain to us what the difference is between a stroke and a TIA?
"Strokes include three types of pathologies: ischemic strokes or cerebral infarctions, which represent the most numerous cases and are characterized when an artery that vascularizes the brain is occluded; hemorrhagic strokes (or intracerebral hematomas), when an artery in the brain ruptures; and finally, TIAs (which are therefore strokes, cerebrovascular accidents). This also involves an artery that is occluded but in a transient manner, without causing damage to the brain and with clinical signs that resolve quickly (in less than an hour). "
